Brief Job Description: Responsible for completing a variety of administrative tasks from greeting guests, answering incoming phone calls, taking in animal admissions, maintaining the donor database, processing all incoming donations, providing back up for the gift shop, and collecting cash donations daily.

Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week

Answers incoming phone calls.

Takes in sick, injured & orphaned animal admissions.

Pick up/drop off mail, sort and distribute daily and go to post office (as needed).

Coordinates and prepares all donations including cash, checks, credit cards, in-kind gifts etc.

Manage gift acknowledgement process and sending acknowledgements for donations via e-mail or mail weekly.

Sends follow up e-mails or texts to individuals.

Provides follow up patient status information to individuals who have dropped an animal, as requested from Hospital Director.

Regularly manage and maintain donor database and records.

Orders office supplies.

Provides back up coverage in gift shop.

Collects and logs cash donations from donation boxes each day.

Manages IT systems through coordinating, enacting and managing computers and electronics.

Coordinates wildlife rescues during work shifts.
