  • When are you open to the public?
    We are open 7 days a week ! ,10am - 4:30pm. Our holiday closures are New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, Easter, and Christmas Day. Other than that, we are open all other holidays. We are open rain or shine. See you soon!
  • What is the admission cost?
    Admission is by donation. We greatly appreciate your monetary support. Your donation is how we are able to care for the animals. For your convenience, we have card readers at the gift shop and cash donation boxes throughout the Sanctuary.
  • What do I do if I found an injured animal?
    Call us at 561-575-3399. We are happy to answer your questions. Our hospital is open for intakes Monday - Sunday 8am - 5pm
  • Are dogs allowed in the Sanctuary?
    Service animals are welcome at the Sanctuary. Per the ADA, a service animal is individually trained to work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. If you have any questions, please give us a call 561-575-3399.
  • What should I wear or bring?
    The Sanctuary is on a nature trail. We recommend wearing compfortable walking shoes. Don't forget your sunblock.
  • Do I need a reservation?
    No, you do not need a reservation to visit the Sanctuary. Organized groups such as schools, Scouts, birthday parties, etc. do need to book in advance by reaching out to education@buschwildlife.org
  • Is the Sanctuary wheelchair and stroller accessible?
    Yes, our entrance, nature trails, and boardwalks are ADA compliant.
  • How long does it take to go around the Sanctuary?
    The entire Sanctuary is little over 6 acres of nature trails and boardwalks. Give yourself 45min- 1hr for the walk through. Visitors also like to plan their day here by scheduling their arrival around our many weekly programs, such as our Wildlife Encounters in the Cypress Amphitheater.
