Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Florida’s native wildlife and natural resources through our two-fold mission of wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education.
SUMMER at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
This summer, we’ll be keeping our air-conditioned classroom and Discovery Center open as cool down spaces for guests to relax, recharge, and continue exploring through interactive exhibits and activities. We'll have educational videos playing and coloring sheets available throughout the day.
It's hot, so we want to make sure everyone has a comfortable place to cool off while enjoying their Sanctuary adventure!

Summer Sunday Tiny Tales Storytime: Every Sunday at 10 a.m. from June 7 through August 9, little nature lovers ages can enjoy a story and an up-close animal encounter. Stay afterwards for a special Mommy & Me activity for just $5 per person, too!

Where’s Poppy? Sanctuary Scavenger Hunt: Poppy the Opossum has hidden clues all around the Sanctuary! Explore, observe, and see if you can find everything on Poppy’s list. Available daily at our Welcome Center.
