Accessibility at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
We are a sanctuary for animals and humans alike and we are committed to providing our guests with the most comfortable experience possible. If something seems to be missing from our accommodations below, please give us a call or send us an email so we can lend a hand.
Accessible Parking
We have four spaces in the front of our Welcome Center that are reserved for disabled parking.
Wheelchair Accessibility & Mobility Assistance
• Curb cuts make our sidewalks easily accessible.
• All exhibits are viewed from 8’ wide concrete pathways.
• All public restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
• Cut-outs are installed in all fence rails for easier viewing.
Sensory Friendly
We understand that some of our guests may have audio sensitivity and we want to ensure that everyone feels comfortable during their visit. We offer complimentary noise-canceling headphones for our visitor.
Service Animals
Service animals, as defined by theAmericans with Disabilities Act, are welcome at our facility. Please note that Assistance Animals are not within the scope of the ADA definition and are not permitted.
